Sunflower Therapy
A landing page for a Kansas City-based therapy practice. The site is designed to be a calming and inviting space for potential clients to learn about the practice and its services. The site is built with a focus on accessibility and performance, and is designed to be easy to maintain and update.
The Challenge
A seasoned Marriage & Family Therapist, who had recently relocated to her home town of Kansas City, was opening a new telehealth practice and urgently needed a landing page for her new business on a modest budget. Our task was to find a solution that was quick to implement, cost-effective to maintain and also visually appealing.
The Goal
The goal was to create a simple one-page site that was easy to maintain and update and also captured the spirit of the practice and its founder. It needed to include pricing information, downloadable intake forms, descriptions of the services provided, and a contact form for interested visitors.
The Solution
Fortunately for us, our client was extremely responsive in providing content for the site and feedback on the intital designs, allowing us to launch the site within 3 days. We chose to develop the site in Nuxt.js and Tailwind CSS, which facilitated a fast, accessible, and easy-to-maintain implementation. We deployed the site on Netlify using its free tier, saving our client ongoing costs, and we used a simple, calming color palette and a mix of custom illustrations and stock photography to create a welcoming and inviting space for potential clients.
Nick was an absolute dream to work with. I gave him basic instructions and insight into myself, my business, and my general aesthetic preferences. He took those things and created something professional, clear, and layered in a way I never could've imagined.
